Here's a custom mod I did back in 2008 of an Xbox converted over to a Xbox 360 case. I was running UnleashX using an 360 skin. It's funny looking at my old photos and seeing what things I did. Lots of improvising. Notice the rear of the case? haha

Now thats a Xbox with a internal PSU :P cool

Thanks codeasm, it was fun build back then when I built it. I wish I knew what I know now, but it was a time when Xbox-Scene existed and I was learning so much.

We all have those moments of realisation later on. some sad ones, and some are funny to think back of ;) I got banned once from X-S for talking bout Piracy XD, I learned from that, and only asked technical questions from there on. Wish I got into programming back then.

Yeah, I miss Xbox-Scene. I wish I would have purchased one of their t-shirts before they all sold out. Xbox Modding has given such an unlimited outlet of things to do. There's so much to learn. I still am looking for an Vantec Iceberq 4 Pro to this day...lol

I had so many links to tutorials, guides and info. All lost to the sands of time. Its a shame. Hope fully this site will bring some of that old knowledge back.

crazy what 10 years can turn into "ancient history" on the internet. fast times on the net man. preservation is easiest in the digital and because of the simple access to info, usually the last thing on the list.

£90 plus a years free IPTV is not a bad deal as I didn't pay anything for console years ago as it had a sticky drive lol.

I believe my Xbox is a 1.6 - it has the Xcalibur chip. Correct?
I purchased a new power cable for the unit. It still does not power up. I ripped it apart and it looks like there is a short on the power supply board. Does anyone know where I can find one for sale for the 1.6? or how to fix this? Picture below. Hopefully the pictures are clear.
What else could the issue be???
      Your help is appreciated!
I am planning to update and revisit this project from 10 years ago. Current Mods - SmartXX mod chip with 180gb HDD. (Nothing special)

      Hello everybody,
I am in the situation to do my first paintjob on the xbox. For that purpose I created a PSD-Mockup file, where you can change the colour of different parts on the Xbox Classic.
I want to share this file to help you all out to see the results you are planning on getting, before you do the actual paintjob.

You'll be able to do stuff like this with it.

      Current Version:
      Xbox_Mockup_V1.rar

      Includes:
      - Xbox console mockup
      Planned in upcoming versions:
      - compatibility test  with GIMP
      - Xbox controller mockup
      - Xbox jewel smartobject (in case you want to replace with your customized jewel)
      - Controller ports LED lights

Feel free to use and share. Also feel free to give me some feedback on what I should work out/should be added and post some pics of the mockups you created :).
