  1. I currently have an xbox I bought that was already soft modded several years ago. It has a 750 gig hard drive in it. I was wondering is it possible to clone the hard drive thats in it, then take the cloned drive and install it into another soft modded xbox? Is it possible lock the hard drive with the new eeprom from the 2nd softmoded xbox? trying to save a lot of time If I can do it this way...thanks
  2. I am sure it is just experience (my lack of) but there seems to be a certain amount of Voodoo involved with adding a new Hard Disk to a TSOP'd system using HeXEn I have successfully done it but now I am using a SATA 1TB Drive w/adapter and I am on my third try at it (formatting etc.). Still nothing. I am wondering if my Seagate ST1000DM003 is not compatible or I am missing something? Any advice?
  3. More curious than want to put into practice but after I load a game from disk onto the Xbox Hard Drive, it might be nice to create an ISO as a backup if the game disk fails. I was thinking some kind of program on a PC connected via the network to the Xbox.
  4. Not really an Xbox mod, but when I do v1.6 softmods a rigged ATX PSU comes in handy to clone your hard drive without having to power it from the Xbox. You can cut off the entire harness and wire up the two wires to a toggle switch rather than having a wire hanging. It also works well to test your LEDs before hooking them up! 3.3v, 5v, and 12v. Anyway. Enjoy!!
  5. Video from my YouTube channel on how to wire up an HDD indicator LED just for the hell of it. Lol. Enjoy!
