Hi guys now im recently splitting 1.0 bios to 4 banks, i backup bios with evox but gives me 1024 size backup I know that with raincoat it doesnt autosize to 1024kb but the problem i dont know how to use it Many questions... 1 could i split the 1024 bios to 4x 256kb bios? or 2x 512kb ones? 2 can i backup 256kb or 512kb bios size (tsop splitted one) 3 is there any option to have a 256kb backup of 1.0 1.1 bios xbox? last, is there any option or tutorial to get raincoat working? or to make backup with raincoat?

Hello, I have a xbox 1.6 with a puce aladdin x2, hdd 500 go. I need the bios M8+ that supports IGR and 500 go hdd. I have a programmer. Thanks to anyone who can give me a link for this one. PS: I can't use cerbios because the console is plugged into RGB.

So, hello there. I am new to all this, although I have had my Xbox since 2005. I got it out recently and thought I should "modernize" it - and this is where I should have stopped. I have an XBOX modded with an X-Changer (not 2.5) and an evo x bios. It started the evolution x dash when pressing the eject button and the X-Changer OS when pressing the power button (interestingly showing two banks to boot from - one 256k and one 512k). So, first thing I did wrong was softmodding the system with Rocky5's upgrade kit, which deleted the original MSXBOX dashboard. The system, however, continued to work fine. The second time I should have stopped. Then, after a lot of research, I found out that there exists an updated X-Changer OS, so I updated the OS to V2.2 via network. It worked fine, but after that I could not start the bios anymore. It just circled back to the OS starting page (not showing two bank any more). So I decided to flash a new bios via network. I chose the latest Cerbios as I read that it should run on an X-Changer. The flash worked fine, but after rebooting the screen stayed black and the light of the XBOX was red. I guess I must have messed it up, to quote the band GusGus. My next idea would be to boot with a TruHeXeN ROM and reflash the bios, this time to an evo x one. So, is there anybody out there kind enough to tell me what went wrong and what I can do? Thanks in advance!

I have also included Cerbios Tool, as well as UDMA 4,5 and 6 files. Only use 6 if you have a Startech, basically. if you have a cheapo SATA adapter, use UDMA 4. If you have upgraded your cheapo green adapter with "the resistor", try 5. If you are using IDE, use the non-UDMA descripted file, which is UDMA-2. Howdy! Long time follower of the forums and this is my first post ever on the site. Finally got me a modded original NTSC Xbox from eBay after years of not owning one. Loving it! Mostly playing Halo2 on XLinkKai. My only issue with it is that who ever modded it and sold it to me on eBay removed the iconic classic flubber intro boot, all it has is just this blame and dull blue Xbox logo during boot and nothing else. Looking to see if there is anyway I can get the flubber screen back? I know it's something to do with the BIOS, just haven't found any leads in what to do and all the information i used to frequent back in the day on isozone is gone and anything I find is obscure with no clear information or instructions and I'm afraid to mess anything up with out some kind guidance on the procedure. I would like to know if there's any way of extracting and then injecting a custom Microsoft logo into the Xbox BIOS, usually its "xboxkrnl.exe" I may be wrong.

Does anyone have a list of BIOS files for the VGA mod? I have the Frosty-The-Snowman X2_5035 BIOS and BIOS boot disk, but I was wondering if there were others.

I found my old Xbox OG in a cupboard and decided I fancied getting it out and playing some old games I had. It boots up to the old dashboard I had (Avalaunch 0.49.3) and games play etc. Reading the latest on the new features of the Xbox OG Modding scene, I see I can now put much bigger HDDs into it as well as some other features such as Cerbios CCIs etc. I'd like to update my BIOS but I can't get into XeniumOS (XOS) to flash the Cerbios .bin - The OpenXenium BIOS utility by MakeMHz says I am on an older version and need to be on 2.5 at least, but I cannot get there either. I've read that powering on with Eject can reboot to XOS or holding the white button (small problem that I don't have the original controllers anymore and am using a Brook Wingman XB2, so maybe that prevents the white button [Left Trigger] being detected at startup). Its such a long time since I did all this I have forgotten everything I learned back when I modded it LOL My aim is to have all my games on a single HDD and use xbmc4gamers|xbmc-emustation as a nice menu system to choose.

I've tried to boot with a newly formatted 2TB SATA HDD, and have been having issues... Cerbios Hybrid 2.3.1 UDMA5: Stays on the Boot Animation. M8Plus Titan & Stock (TSOP): Error 21. XBlastOS: Black screen, jumps back into XeniumOS The chip has XeniumOS 2.3.5. The drive has been formatted with FatXplorer using the Cerbios preset, and is unlocked. The only data on the HDD is the default C:\ contents from the XBOXHDM build of Rocky5's installer along with cerbios.ini and the BootAnims folder. I used CerbiosTool to generate the ini and have set "DashPath1" to "C:\xboxdash.xbe" and "DriveSetup" to 1 (No HDD, Legacy), with everything else being "stock". Does anyone know what could be the problem? UPDATE: Turns out it was an issue with using Rocky5's softmod files on a hardmod. I fixed this by just copying Rocky5's UnleashX build from xbins onto the C:\ partition.

Q1 after you finshed your Tsop you must put Hexen disc to boot your xbox, How if my BIOS was noDVD? And how noDVD BIOS works? Q2, i flashed yesDVD and i want to reFlashed to noDVD without make any crouppted thing or any problems

Can anyone else confirm this?? I have repaired several 1.4 consoles, but this one is not a 1.4. This console was modded previously according to the v1.5 aladdin mod. It has bios 5713. Yet it comes up as a 1.4. Only Xblast OS shows it as 1.4/1.5.

I am upgrading the hard drive I installed sometime between 03-05 when I first modded my original xbox with an Xecuter 2. I don't recall which version of the chip I purchased I have all the parts I've seen suggested to begin. My issue is that I have not upgraded BIOS so its sitting at 4983.something. My board is 1.4 What is the recommended method and BIOS to get this upgraded or even upgrade my whole setup so I can utilize the full hard drive?

Hi all, I have a 1.6 Xbox which I believe has an xecuter 2.6 modchip installed (looks identical to the ones pictured) with the toggle switches. 3 with leds and one just behind them, underneath. I used the ogxbox installer 2021 disk with xbpartitioner1.3 to setup my hdd. I used the setup new large hdd as it’s 2tb. All went well, with drives F and G showing, I think, 927gb each. Yet on xbmc4gamers G drive is unavailable. I have the evox m8+ bios currently. What could be causing this and would it be worthwhile flashing the cerbios bios if at all this is possible? Hope its OK to ask this here Ive been trying to upgrade a couple of Xboxes now, for the last month and a half Its been one problem after another. Anyway, Im at the point where everything Is working, but I still have a problem For some strange reason, I Initially was only able to copy around 300GB of files to F or G drive So did some Investigation, and found some Information...found a recommended BIos...patched it using Evtool to LBA48 v3.0 Flashed the Bios and thought everything was solved. It was showing as LBA48 v3.0 In XBPartitioner But now, It will only allow me to copy 500Gbs of data before file transfer errors. So...can someone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, upload the BIOS files I require, both for v1.0 to v1.5, and v1.6 Xboxes, already patched as necessary, and tested working to allow the full 2Tb hard drive usage. Just standard modchips... Duox2 and Aladdin...nothing special...on standard Xboxes I would really appreciate this help, because basically I dont know what Ive done wrong, or what else to do Thankyou

So I just finished another successful TSOP flash on a v1.1 and wishing I had spent more time focusing on that vs. having to repair numerous LPC ports from teaching myself to solder. Oh well, I digress… Since I’m fairly new to flashing bios’s (Xbox) I’ve been reading up on which bios is best for my needs as well as the method of flashing. Since I’m pretty old school I was always taught the importance of having a good boot up disc (ie. Hexen) laying around. Kinda fancy since I grew up thinking we’d be booting everything off floppy disks forever! The more I’ve read I’m finding that maybe Hexen isn’t the most impervious or bulletproof solution out there. It would appear that the Hexen-based bios’s could be tainted in a sense (as well as limited in variety). Can someone verify if I’m understanding this correctly? I hear those particular bios files have been pre-configured and therefore not the best choice to flash and replace the old soft mod. I’m of the impression that the most bulletproof method would be hooking up the hard drive to my computer and/or FTP’ing the OGXbox Installer onto it. Anyone? Lastly, please correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m thinking that it would be silly to use any of these older BIOS’s without any LBA support. I’d like to utilize one of the newer (but not entirely necessary) Titan or Cerbios revisions available. I’d love to hear what you guys have to say about this. Thanks in advance for your feedback ✌

Hi everyone, i'm workin on my xbox to install MakeMhz Hdmi. I have 2 questions for you: 1st I've flashed my Bios with M8.CEC.FG.evoxdash.512 and M8.CEC.FG.UX.512 (the prepatched EvoX m8+ Bioses for makemhz) as You can see ,using evox dash they both giving me "Bios Unknow" , is that normal ? also when i load them in evtool they cannot be edited (unsupported kernel..) 2nd i have a 2tb disk with 2 900 gb partitions , if i will decide to edit m8 untouched bios , which is the right choice to choose for the LBA48 support and partition table ? thanks !!

Hey all , I have a hard modded Xbox with xenium installed , I don’t have a old harddrive with bios , I have he hdmi+ installed and it’s working I connect my Xbox via hdmi, I can’t seem to get a bios to load , I can’t load hexen cause I don’t have a dash board , I formatted the c and e partition via xenium , every other partition I get failed to format .. I get the error 16 lots , I Tryed ftp m8plus but it won’t work .. I have a version 1.6 mother board .. what am I doing wrong ? I have a hexen dvd made but it won’t load cause I don’t have a dashboard I guess .. I have a new 2tb harddrive .. i can boot into xenium but that’s it

Hi, I brought my og xbox back to live and it is still working. But I now want to upgrade it with a 2 TB disk. I read a lot here in the forum and tried to find the components and bios I need for upgrade. So far my upgrade components are as follows: WD RE4 2 TB SATA (WD2003FYYS) Unpartitioned; Deleted partitions with easeUs never installed in a xbox Delock 62510 SATA 2 IDE Adapter (Successor of Delock 61702); According to data sheet: contains Marvell 88SA8052 Asus 80wire 40pin IDE / PATA Cable OGXBox 2021 (v1.5.4) Installer Disk Thank you very much Actual setup: Xbox Rev. 1.0 WD 200 GB IDE (unlocked) Aladdin Advanced with Xecuter2 4983.06 BIOS (256kb) EvolutionX Dashboard (1.8.3752) First I thought, I will go with a LBA48 modified/fixed EvoX M8+ CEE BIOS. After some reading of topics/posts on this forum, I stumbled up on the Original Aladdin Advanced Mod Chip comment from SS_Dave, where he recommend "IND 5004.67" for the Aladdin Advanced. Furthermore on youtube I saw the new CerBios 2.0.3R and found it here on the forum. This is is also a 256kb BIOS and as I get it right a brand new one. I think I will go with XBMC4Gamers, but not sure. Now I am not sure which BIOS I should use/flash to the Aladdin Advanced. Do you may have recommondations for me, which BIOS I should use? I have been trying many combintations based on info found here, but still cannot get the dash to see G: Drive. I have a 1.6 with an original X2.6 Install, and a 2tb drive with the Origin Image (Only becuase I wanted to get things setup and back into OG Xbox) I have been using bios' downloaded from the right sources, and uploading them via ethernet with flashbios always on bank 1&2. I have tried the following either modified with EVTool (for 256k) or X2ool for the Xecuter bios (5035 512k) I try to mod the bios for LBA support, but its not happening. I think there maybe an issue with the programs above and compatability/admin rights?? So far I have tried: x2_5035_v16plus_512k modified with X2ool M8plus_16 modified with EVTool (1.0.8) M8_16_LBA48_IGR_C-06 modified with EVTool (1.0.8) The last one I really expected to work......I've not played with any partition tools as I was concerned that I might loose data. Finally, I've not tried any of the installation DVD's as the drives dont seem to be working.....

Hello all i have a hard-modded XBox that has 2 BIOS chips my question is how do I set the CerBios to boot the XBMC Origins dash, because I also have a Series X boot flubber and that would kind of SWEET see video of boot below and then have the IND-BIOS boot XBMC4Gamers If I use HEXEN 2018 after I choose my bios and then boot that BIOS, will HEXEN do everything for me to set BIOS 1._dash XBMC4GAMERS BIOS 2._dash XBMC ORIGINS

So I thought I'd try out life without a DVD drive but I've run into some issues after removing it, attaching just the mainboard to power/IDE, and flashing a noDVD M8+ BIOS patched for XboxHD+ and 128MB RAM. My symptoms: - When I try to start up CoinOPS Ninja, it just hangs on a black screen - When I press the controller buttons to reset the console, it enters a boot loop, eject flashes green and shows Xbox logo then black screen over and over again. Is the soft reset shortcut somehow tied to eject and the DVD drive? Xbox games themselves and other emulators seem to be launching fine btw.
