  1. I would buy two to four of these. US based but don't mind extra taxes/fees.
  2. Not surprised people here snagged that one. I have a clear xcm I bought ~15 years ago but the front panel is broken off. The plastic piece that goes over the power and eject buttons is long gone, but I'm wondering if I can just 3d print a clear replacement and glue everything back into place. Thoughts?
  3. So if even if I built out a VGA cable, and tapped out the rgb into its own extra output, I couldn't use that is component, or rgb in on any tube TV?
  4. Hey all, This might be a foolish thought, but would it be possible to create an av cable that does both component out and vga out at the same time? I ask because if it were possible, it would be a very cheap an effective way to capture gameplay from an original xbox while playing. I was looking at this diagram for av pinouts and saw how similar they already were: https://imgur.com/odRIA8b I guess the only potential issue is that pins 9 and 10 are shorted for when its VGA and are not shorted when its component? Would be curious to hear from people more knowledgeable than myself.
  5. Ooooh, that's a good idea. I'll start looking into that. Thanks.
  6. Yeah, but I'd like it to be done from the xbox itself. I'm less concerned with finding the best drive to use (SSD's are obviously the best), and more with evaluating performance degradation over time without having to pull the drive out and test it on a workbench.
  7. Hey all, I'm interested in apps that can help assess xbox performance. Specifically one that can run tests on the hard drive. I'd like to compare some drives I have (ide, cf, sata ssd), and it would be awesome if something like this already existed. I've seen a ram test app specifically for the 128mb mod, but that's it.
